{"id":1006202,"date":"2020-12-11T07:52:27","date_gmt":"2020-12-11T07:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.xananagusmaoreadingroom.com\/international-day-of-human-rights-celebration\/"},"modified":"2020-12-11T07:52:27","modified_gmt":"2020-12-11T07:52:27","slug":"international-day-of-human-rights-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xananagusmaoreadingroom.com\/en\/international-day-of-human-rights-celebration\/","title":{"rendered":"INTERNATIONAL DAY OF HUMAN RIGHTS CELEBRATION"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]\n<h2>INTERNATIONAL DAY OF HUMAN RIGHTS CELEBRATION<\/h2>\n<p>On Thursday, December 10, 2020, \u00a0Xanana Gusm\u00e3o Reading Room (XGRR) collaborated with a volunteer group from Tropas Ba Ambiente Saudavel (TROBAS) celebrate International Day of Human Rights by conducted a seminar with the theme &#8220;Education for a Good Life&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this seminar is to share information with students and young people about citizenship rights to access education.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar invited two speakers, Mrs. Fransisca S. de Sousa from the Secretary of State for Equality in Inclusion and Mrs. Neolanda Marvia N. R. Fernandes from Sosiedade Advogada Estajiaria.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Fransisca underlined that the right to education is very important because it has a positive impact such as covering gender gaps and with education \u00a0can increase economic income. She also said that the important value of education is to be able to help and provide comfort to ourselves from the treatment of crime, keep us away from war and terrorism, reduce poverty, and everyone is obliged to respect the laws and regulations of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Besides that Mrs. Neolanda also gave her \u00a0opinion on the fundamental right to access education regardless of race, religion and gender.
