Our Museum

Come and visit our permanent and rolling exhibitions from local and international artists

The Museum at the Xanana Gusmão Reading Room is housed within the magnificent Portuguese colonial building that invites visitors in to the front of our compound. The museum contains permanent/semi-permanent exhibitions, including memorabilia, personal gifts and information on/from Xanana Gusmão. The museum also serves as a space for local artists to display their works for the public. Our museum is an opportunity for the joy of art to be shared and admired in Timor-Leste and is also an opportunity for knowledge to be shared. You may view more about our temporary and permanent exhibitions below.
